Icon32 Need help with choosing an amp

I currently have two 10" sony explod subs (i know i know sony arent cool at all) and my last amp didnt cut it so i sold it. The subs can handle 300 rms max and i want to buy an amp that can push both at maximum capacity. Ive been looking up a ton of amps that say they push 600 rms at 2 ohms and 1000 rms at 1 ohm but i dont know what an ohm is or how to set it up. Anyone have any suggestions on which one to buy and how to set it up in different ohms? Im looking to spend like 200 or somethin like that im kinda limited on budget right now.

Can they handle 300 RMS or is that there max??? Also an Ohm is a measure of resistance and to wire the subs to different ohms depends on the structure of your sub- SVC, DVC.. etc

Generally, the lower the impedance, the more power you will see...

Like andy asked, the subs are 300 RMS or 300 max?

Also, what is the coil configuration on the subs? I'm gonna guess they are SVC 4 ohm...

You can get a JBL 600.1 for under $200 on www.ikesound.com, that will do over 600 rms at 2 ohms...

I think by RMS max is that the sub can handle a maximum of 300 watts continuously.
