help me decide on an amp

Im still deciding on an amp to power my 2 12" alpine type R's, these are the two amps ive been looking into

    Concept CC-1252
    RMS Power 125W x 2 @ 4 Ohm
    RMS Power 200W x 2 @ 2 Ohm
    RMS Power 400W x 1 @ 4 Ohm MONO
    Signal-to-noise ratio: 100 dB
    Frequency Response: 5Hz - 50kHz
    Total harmonic distortion: 0.05%
    Continuously variable 0 - 18dB BASS boost
Built-in continuously variable 18dB per octave crossover
Remote bass level control “port” (remote RM-100 available separately)
    Input sensitivity: 200mV - 4V
    Backlit CONCEPT logo
    Platinum connectors
    Size: length x width x height: 300mm x 296mm x 60mm 11.82" x 11.66" x 2.37"

    and the

    JBL BP600.1
    Output 4 Ohms: 300W x 1
    Output 2 Ohms: 600W x 1
    Signal-to-Noise (dBA): >100
    Frequency Response (±3dB): 20Hz - 500Hz
    Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.1%
    Input Sensitivity: 250mV - 4V

are these to amps about the same power range or would one over power the other??
and which one would you use????

I don't think the concept has enough power for two type-r's. Although it has alot more features than the JBL. It's kind of a tossup, but i'd go with the JBL simply because it would power those subs a little better. The type-r's are DVC 4-ohm right?

To use the JBL BP600.1 with those subs, it would have to be run into 1ohm. Wouldn't you be able to notice the difference in quality?

People have said that the jbl amp doesn't support it, and damage to the amp will occur. Yet other people have said that they have had no problem at all.

    Whats the final word?

why would it have to be at 1 ohm.... wouldnt the load be 2 ohms....
anyways im kinda thinking about just sticking with one type R now.. so im think about the JBL 300.1 or maybe something with a little more power..

for 2 DVC 4 ohm subs it would be 1 ohm or 4 ohms. You may be mistaken and u have the 2 ohm subs, check to make sure. I have a JBL 1200.1 and it runs at 1 ohm. no problems. Get the 600.1
