It all depends on the price you are willing to pay for the preformance you want.

    Alpine CDA-9813
    Infinity Kappa 60.5s Component Speakers
    U.S. Acoutics 2080x for the comps (80x2 @ 4 ohms)
    1 ed e12O.44 in a 2ft.^3 sealed box.
    Soundstream RUB500-1 for the sub (400x1 @ 2 ohms)

Are the comp vr's dual 4 ohm subs?

    How many are you running?

im guessing that those are dual 4 ohm subs. get a class d amp. there are tons out there. i am sure those vrs can handle more power than that. i believe kicker recommends 500 watts rms. get an opti 1000d, a zeus1000($249 shipped refurbed from thezeb.), or any amp that does its full power at 1 ohm. as far as kenwood amps i havent had much experience with them in the last few years. if they make them like they did about 6 years ago, my opinion would be no way. i remember i bought a kenwood ps200 and it blew fuses and made my lights dim horribly. it was only a 200 watt amplifier. totally ineffecient. the other kenwood 4 channel i had would always get hot and cut off. at least it didnt fry like the 200 did. i heard that they havent improved. one more thing. if you want fosgate, you can find plenty of them on thezeb for reasonable prices. they are authorized, so you will get a good warranty. i personally wouldnt buy any 2003 punch series.
