is the rockford bd1000.1 stable at 1ohm?
It's rated 1000W @ 2 ohms. I would dare to say no it isn't 1 ohm stable even though I have no experience with the amp.<br />Sometimes the manufacturer underrates the amp and calls it safe @ their specs.
yes the amp is able to handel one ohm

Personal Use - Bd1000.1 is stable to 1 ohm. I have even used it at .5 ohm with no trouble. Very good amp!
