That sub does not deserve an amp.

I recommend a wall socket for that sub. You could get a 12" Phoenix Gold Rsd and box for about half the price of that piece of crap sony and it's going to sound infinity better and hit harder. Or if your really needing a slim sub the pioneer slim subs are much much better than sony.
