    4 gauge wire

I have 4 gague wire that is was running to a profile 600msx. the amp blew so i am thinking about buying a new one. the only prob is that on the profile you put the wire directly in to a slot on the amp no need for connectors. Well i dont know what kind of amp i want {going to be mono} but if i do not get a profile series, how do i connect that big of wire to the amp with the crimp on connector. the only ones i have seen for 4 gauge wire are way to thick to fit the screw in the amp. should i just get a distbu and run smaller gauge like 8 or 6 to the amp? I do not have any other amps in there right now, but i am thinking about the feature of getting a smaller amp for 6x9

IF you think you will be adding a amp you will be needing a distro block anyway right. I would get one that has 4 gauge input and 4 fused 8 gauge outputs.

wtf?!??! $100 fora distro. no man, u r prob mistaken for something else. tehre's no way a store would sell fused distro for $100 unless it were like 4 inputs w 10 outputs n StreetWire. u prob confused.

check knuconceptz.com too, they cheap n good quality.

depeneding on the power of the new amp, it could accept up to 4awg, n u can just insert it in n screw it w the slot. no need for connectors

no the only thing the stores sell here are like Combo Fused Distribution Block for like 79, or caps with them on it. not a lot of selection when it comes to things like that, lots of amps and subs, but when it comes to the cheap stuff it is hard to find.
