Finally!!!! The Rock has come back to Baltimore!!!! Or better yet, finally my amp has come to my door step via UPS. I just hooked that monster up and i must say i have never heard such clean power. This 5 channel amp is a true beast. If there is a better amp please someone stand up tell me. but if you are looking for a good looking amp that performs better than the baltimore raven's (lol just joking) this amp is it.

I'm trying to decide between this amp or a combo of JL 300/4 & 500/1; does anyone have any thoughts or experience with either/both? I'll be powering a set of CDT classic comps (active) & 3 ED 9kv2 subs.

I too have been contemplating this amp for a couple of reasons.

1) A single amp to run my entire system for simplicity reasons
2) Increased efficiency due to a newer design and newer parts

I am an old school guy and worry that the sound quality from the RF amp won't be on par with the HiFonics Series VIII's that I am running now.

Anyone been running one of these for awhile care to comment on it's performance overall? Any issues from a quality standpoint?

How does the Class D subwoofer portion on the amp perform, good clean solid distortion free bass response?

Inquiring minds want to know if it is worth the jump to a new product. I have not purchased a brand new amp since the mid-90's.

I too am an old school guy, I havent done much since the 90s maybe early 2000s.
I decided to do a system and got a New Rockford Power 1000 and Im not impressed. I just dont think it compares to good old amps.
Im actually considering going to Hifonics Series VIII.
The birthsheet on this amp shows over 100/ch @ 4 ohm I bet you dollars to donuts that an old Hifonics rated anywhere close kills it.
Sub channel is good enough for me but compared to a VIII Zues I dont thinkn it compares.

I am running a cream of the Series VIII crop Isis on the fronts and another on the subwoofers. The SQ is awesome that is what I was afraid of losing with a changeover to the newer amp. I suppose if they were all that there would not be that many of them for sale. There were only 2500 made and if they were that good I would think they would all be gone by now.

I am sticking with the old school stuff for now I suppose.
