jbl 1200 or ed nine.1
what do you guys think is the better amp to power 1 brahma 12" sub. They are around the same price but at two ohms i think the ED is half the power that jbl has.

The JBL would put out more power at 2 ohms, around 12-1300, compared to the ED's ~7-800 at 2 ohms...but I'm not a big fan of the x-overs on the JBL...how much do you have to spend?
Look into the RE 35-1D and the BEtter Audio 1600M1...both are around $330

yeah, the better audio amps are sweet.

well I dont have anything to spend on an amp right now but in the near future I would like to spend 300 or less. also the amp I have right now is a 4 channel with 1000 watts. could I hook my polk 3ex59 (or whatever they are called) to the amp and turn the gain down.

first off, brahma is dual 2 ohm sub. that means u can wire it to 1 or 4 ohms. At 1 + 4 ohm the amps have practically same output. Get nine.1, cheaper, more features. Hurry up though preorder price will end very soon if not ended already
