    Icon14 Where should I set my subsonic filter?

    Im about to buy a USX800D off thezeb.com for my two Type R's and I was wondering where should I set my subsonic filter at? And if there is anywhere I can pick up this amp for cheaper than $243.99 shipped you can go ahead and direct me there before I pick this up next week.



    1996 Toyota Camry LE Gold Edition (customized)
    HU- Alpine CDA-9805
    Front-6 1/2 Alpine SPR-17LP
    Rear-6 1/2 Alpine SPR-17LP
    Subs- Audiobahn AW1200Q
    Amps- mids and highs 4 channel alpine 25rms X 4.

    you can fit the subsonic filter RCA jack anywhere between the hu and the amp input jacks...

    I meant set the filter at what HZ its like between 10 and 80HZ where should I put it at?

    ah...

    that'd depend on your subs...

    a human ear cannot hear things under 20Hz, I think, only feel...

    to be safe, try putting it at about 23Hz, any sub should be able to play that frequency without a problem...

    Hey thanks man do you know anyplace I could pick up a cheaper USX800D at? just wondering the zeb is the cheapest place so far and I dont think there is anywhere else on the whole freakin internet that sells these things for any cheaper.

    Hmm, even after comparing ikesound and etronics prices, if you're still unsure, your last resort would be dealtime...and if STILL unsure, then get a cheaper amp...

    or you could pick up one in ebay or something...

    Just go for thezeb. And i heard that if you find a cheaper price somewhere else, thezeb will pay you the difference and then some. There is another post about that floating around here somewhere.

    The zeb in general has some of the best prices on anything they carry.. If you do find anything cheaper I would question the reliability of their service and check out the price of their shipping.

    Thezeb is mostly an Authorized Dealer of all their stuff they carry. They cannot offer those SUPER low prices like other places or they will no longer be consitered an "Authorized Dealer" of that brand. And most of the time NON Authorized Dealers cannot offer the manufacture warrenty, or the manufacture will not take the product. But yes, they do offer Price Matching as a way to get more bussiness without getting in trouble
