Precision Power PCX-1500 or Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1

I have 2 Kicker 12L7s (Dual 2-ohm). So, I need a powerful amp that puts out its power @ 2-ohms. Out of these two amps which would be the best in terms of quality, reliability, and efficiency?

    2001 Altima System:
    Alpine CDA-9855 (3Way Mode)
Kicker Resolution RS6 Components (Active Setup)
    CDT Tweeter Image Enhancement Kit
3 Ascendant Audio Arsenal 12's (Sealed)
    Kicker KX650.4
    Kicker KX1200.1 @ 0.67-ohm

The PPI amp i would recommend. PPI had problems before with their amps overheating. However, the model u are interested in is a VERY nice amp. They have great SQ, underrated power output capability, and they look good to boot.

here is my responce from SD:

I say DEI 1100D or the MTX, but if your stuck with those two that you mentioned, I would take the PG, because the PPI amps have been suspect since the buyout so I am going to stay away from them, their quality has gone down and so have reviews on them

So, ya'll think 2 DEI 1100d amps, each ran @1-ohm, would work best? Each 12L7 can handle that power for a daily driving app?

yuh but the mojo would cost less and as a single amp put more power out than all these while costing less than 2 of the dei's and prolly about the same as the pg amp if i recall....it can be had for under a grand retail or around 700 ish on ebay

What do ya'll think about 2 Kicker KX 1200.1's pushing each 12L7 at 1-ohm?

mojo costs less and is as good as the dei stuff i have used. only clear cut advantage in the dei line is the lil diff between the 1100 d from them and the memphis 1000d. there is about 250 watt advantage to the dei there but thats only readable via a meter not your ears.

My fd's Civic installed PPI PCX1500. It's overheated when he boomed for several days after installation. And need to repair. This amp gave u many power but it's not likely to be a class D amp.
