Mine seems to be working well! Now if I could just get enough room to go ported...sealed sounds great, pounds better than a single L7 sealed did, but I know this thing could get louder. By the way, the Xmax is unbelievable. Play that sony xplod test sweep from 100hz-20hz and watch how far it moves....WOW!

Well I'm using the RE35-1D and according to the RE tech, it does 1900 watts or so at one ohm. I asked Loyd(bigbassman) about it and he said that they were lying it actually does do about 1900 watts. So I guess I'm running 1900 watts to it. Its just in a lil sealed box right now like 1ft^3. I dont have room to go ported until i get another vehicle. It sounds extremely clear and hits pretty hard to be in a sealed box. Its much louder than an L7 in a sealed box was. You won't be dissapointed.

Oh I just read your sig...I would not run 2 XXX's off of 1 JBL, I dont think that is enough power. My XXX can reach full xmax off of the RE amp, but it doesn't seem to sweat with 1900 watts on it. 600 watts per XXX may not please you. You'll need more power. Try selling your JBL and go to www.SPLenduro.com join the forum and find David Reid, he goes by dreid on the forums. He has some modded D2's from earthquake for 425$ shipped, it would be a good investment. Those are supposed to be capable of 3000+ watts when modded. Not a bad deal at all. That should push those 2 XXX's a lot better than 1 JBL. just my opinion though.

yea im set on the RE-1D just going to call them up for a direct order

also if what you say is true and it puts out 1900 i think im going to step up from the shivas and grab a brahma 15

the RE should push that nicely i think.

I have only got the one XXX right now, i was just too lazy to change my signature. Im just gonna use the JBL for now, and i will look into a better amp when my finances permit.

What kinda DB you think you will hit when you go to ported?
