    Kicker ZX1000.1 or Hifonics BXi 1606D

    i have 2 12" kicker L7's. i am looking into getting a new amp i can get a refurbished Kicker ZX1000.1 or a brand new Hifonics BXi 1606D... which one would yall go with.... thanks alot........

    well i like hifonics, maybe the kickers would be better cuz theyre l7's kicker is expensive though

    i dont think refurbished amps are bad, ive read around this site from dozens of people buying refurb. products and they run great.. just make sure that it comes with some sort of warrenty though, its good insurance

    hifonics are decent amps but from what everyone says there overrated with the specs.. i have a hifonics amp myself and its decently good, no problems are anything... but i know its probably not putting out the recommended watts... other than that, hifonics are great budget amps

    OP: you can get zx1000s refurbed, from AUTHORIZED dealers for less than $300 ea. Personally...I'd go that route.

    edit: Does the 1606 do full power @ 2 ohms or 1? are your subs d2 or d4?

    of all the amps i've ever had, Rockford had the cleanest SQ of every amp i've used was expensive but great quality. I've never had a Kicker amp, i guess i should buy one and see how they compare.

    I have a new Kicker SX1250.1 for 380 shipped...........pm if your interested.
    But Kicker is the only way to go out of those choices.
