PG Tantrum.. too good to be true?

I was wondering about the PG Tantrum 1200.1 is it really 1200watts @ 4ohms? or is that too good to be true because these can be had for under $450...

Has anyone used one? are they any good?

wow, that's quite cheap..where'd you see that offer? PG, like any self-respecting company would underrate their products, so I assume it might go a tad more than 1200watts... but it was at 4 ohms? wow...

JBL BP1200.1's are 1200 watts RMS (if not more) and they cost much less than that on ebay. usually around 300 shipped

JBL doesnt do that at 4 ohms though.. and they also **** more amps out of your electrical system.

BTW WOW JMAC that is SERVICE!! I guess they really do it.. cool.. I am gonna get one and add another IDMAX D4 and run them at 4ohms.. they should do really well with that amp.

i want to know where you can get that amp for under 450 even though that would kill a single IDMAX, so i'll have to pay 80 more for a brahma plus the difference between the price of that amp and a jbl1200.1.
