Question on the settings for a CadenceZ4000

so i just bought a Cadence Z4000, and I had a question on what some of the settings did:

    1) It says Bass Drive, and the knob goes from 0db to 16db. Is this like a bass boost or what?

    2) It says Boost freq, and the knob goes from 30hz-100hz. Any ideas?

    3) On one side of the amp, there is a remote connection that is part of the power/ground/remote setup.....and on the other side there is a 3/4 channel remote with a telephone style female connection. Whats this for?

Thanks for any help, its much appreciated!!

The 0-16 is definitly the bass boost so you can increase your subs output by up to 16 db and the 30 to 100 is at what frequency you want to boost the bass by up to 16 db. Im not sure what a good boost freq is but im guessing somewhere in the mid 30's.
