    actual output of profile 600sx

    does anyone know the actual output of this amp
    it says 450 x 1 at 4 ohms bridged.
    and would 8 guage be enough for it?

    well profile is usualy quite close on its actual ratings.....so i'd say its 450x1@4ohms......and i'd go w/ 4ga just to be safe.....8ga might work.....but going larger than needed never hurt anything

    get 4 gauge. 8 gauge isn't enough to power that amp. like i said in the other post, subs eat more power than mids do. i wouldn't even run my amp again with 8 gauge unless someone paid me a lot of money to do so. go 4 gauge.
