Lanzar...???

Would a Lanzar VIBE430 be enough to power a 12" Adire Shiva n some Infinity KAPPA PERFECT6.1? Are Lanzars good amps? I'm tryin to stay on a budget w/gettin only one amp. Would that work? Cuz I was told to get a 5-channel amp, and that's one of the ones I found.

Lanzar gets a lot of criticism here, but I personally have used both thier budget, and competition stuff and I don't think you can do much better for the money in either class. The Vibe 430 has been bench tested at 296x2 bridged, which is just right to get a shiva sounding good.

For about a year I used a vibe 430 to do exactly what you're doing, power a sub with 2 channels bridged, and run some components with the other 2 ch. I thought it did a great job. You can get it new for $150 shipped from HERE

BTW, after asking about the 430, why did you mention a 5 ch?
