Gain Knob Problems On Orion HCCA-D2400

Hey, so the other day I was setting the lpf down to 65hz from 70hz, and it sounded good after. The next day I get in my car and the bass is pretty quiet, so i check the voltage to see whats up. The voltage is at 9 volts or so, so i try adjusting the gain up and the voltage doesnt change at all, the gain does not affect the voltage now, what could have happened here that it would do this, and is this something i'll need to send it in for, or something I could possibly fix?

What filter? The ssf? I didn't touch the ssf since I set it at 29 hz originally.

No...you're missing the point, it was music that normally was really loud that was quiet, besides, I SHOULD be reading like 34.7 volts with the test tone playing, I could only get 9 volts and adjusting the gain didnt do anything.

Sounds like an amp problem, if the voltage doesnt change.
Anything else changed in the setup, or did it just work fine and then didnt?
