    Best amp for the money to power Brahma 12 or 15 in a sealed box?

    Like the title says...btw..it's in a F-150 Supercab behind the drivers seat facing rearwards

    uh, JBL 1200.1(or 2 if you really want to push it),USX-1000D, yeah that's all i can think of right now

    Nope, not stable at 1 ohm...I wish it was....

    EDIT = If your going for SQ, dont use the 1200.1. Look into Brax, Avionixx, US Acoustics, Autotek, JL, Memphis, etc...

    EDIT x 2 = Sinfoni, Zapco, Arc Audio....some of these may be a bit to expensive....

    Alright, well I'm really liking the US Accoustics USX-1000D...good price, great reviews, good performance..just one question. What would be the best way to wire it up?

    my USX 4 channel amp came in the mail today. its gettin installed this weekend. its a real solid and heavy amp. made out of steel. ill tell you how it sounds this weekend. this amp is about a 1.5x1 rectangle and it weighs like 15 lbs. its a beast

    the 1200.1 draws something like 117 amps at full throttle, i hope your factory amp can put out at least 140 amps

    he means your alternator, cuz the JBL amp eats energy for breakfast lunch and dinner. you might have to get a new one, or you will get some serious dimming of lights etc. also, the JBL amp wont hurt your SQ much at all

    Hmmm, I know it's relatively strong for a factory alt, but not sure..anyone know where you can find these things out?
