    what happens if amp at 2ohms with...

    What happens if I have my Rockford Fosgate 1000bd at 2 ohms, and my RF Power HX2 at 1ohm, what ohm load am I going to get?

    amps dont have an ohm (impedance) level. its the impedance of the sub.

    1ohm that sub is either 2ohms or 8ohms wire it parallel to 2 ohms and you got 1000w.

    ::edit:: or do you have two subs then its 1ohm or 4ohms?

    The Power HX2 he is talking about is a dual 2 ohm sub.. therefore, 4 or 1 ohm wiring.. that bd1000 wont hold up at 1 ohm..

    that'd be a bit better...both are stable at one ohm i believe.....not sure about the hifonics .....good luck

    the hifonics is stable down to 1 ohm.



    2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4
