    Front Stage Gain - Help me to NOT blow up my speakers!

    I remember hearing something about being able to use a voltmeter to determine the limit that an amp can put out to comps before they start clipping/distorting etc. anyone else ever hear of this? (uber newb here, go easy on me!)



    Vehicle: 1995 Honda Civic DX 5 spd
    HU: Pioneer DEH-7800MP
    Front Stage: Rockford Fosgate fanatic series
    Front Stage Amp: MTX thunder 250x
    Subs: 1 Kicker L7 10'' in custom ported enclosure
    Sub Amp: Kenwood KAC-7202
    Deadening: Damplified the Bejeezuz out of the trunk and the doors
