look at ur HU RMS power, not it's peak power. That is more around like 20-30 watts. Not very much. so getting a 50x4 amp, or a 75x4 amp would make all of you speakers sound better.

I don't know any amps to reccomend you, sorry, not in the 200 dollar range.

well i had a kenwood 4 channel that was 35 x4 rms, it may be cheap and not a lot of power but it sounded a hell of a lot better then the headunits power, or even a sony 4 channel they will do the job and wont sound too bad just pushing speackers

    thanx

so if i were to go this route it would sound alot better???? cuz i was just out there listin to it and it doesn't even sound louder than my suburban stock system. but n e ways how would i hook this up?because my headunit only has one slot for one amp....and i am going to be puttin 1...maybe 2 amps in back for the subs.....is there a device out there that can convert that into more slots for the amps?

there are output RCA's on most amps, you can just wire RCA from amp to amp.. but i think the newer HU's have RCA outputs for subs, for the Rear Channel, and for the Front channel.

and if you were asking about getting power for the new amps, they make distribution blocks that break 1 larger power wire into 2 or more smaller power wires.

just a little plug you find at a electronic parts store----you plug the HU's output into it then it gives you 2 outs

i am not a big sony fan at all but they do make some half decent 4 channel amps that would be fine for running speakers. i can get a 880 watt 4 channell sony amp here for 249 so i'm assuming that would be about $175us be very decent for running your speakers. i had a 35 x 4 kenwood amp that i run two 5 1/4 coax's in the back plus my sub off of and it sounded decent.
