Amp for cheap don't know if its good

Ok i am thinking of buying the sony 760 watt amp to power all the speakers in my car and i was wondering if that would be a good idea?

HELL NO unless your gettin it for like 20 dollars that amp is rated at peak power so you get like 380rms i think but they aint very good products i had the subs and they were junk and i have never really heard anything good about the amps tell me your price range and maybe i can find ya somthin better and i need to know what your goin to be powerin

I am willing to pay about 200 canadian cause all i need an amp for is to power rear 6x9's and front 5 1/4's.. thank you

go on ebay look for a alpine four channel i would recomend getteng a alpine mrv f 300 its a nice amp and they arent all that expensive itr rated at 50 by 4 mor than enough for ur 6 by 9s and 5 1/4 's quality sound no distortionif adjusted right

maybe look into a jbl 80.4 40x4 can be had for wicked cheap under 200 canadian good amp though i have never used it.

i don't like the sony amps when they are hooked up to a sub at all but i think tehy are fine for running speakers off of. i'm also from canada and i know what it's like trying to find stuff for cheap up here. unfortunatly we are usually limited to whatever future shop carries over here on pei. there are a few shops but they are really really expensive.

I don't know what the big deal is living in Canda, why don't ya'll just get someone in the States to buy the stuff for you and ship it to you?

well most of the sites that sell in the states done sell to canada and the ones that do (cough cough ike sound) want 90$ us $150 cdn to ship a jbl 300.1 amp (or last time i checked but i imagine it's still the same). it's great if you can find someone in the states to get you stuff and ship it up to you but unfortunatly most of the world is not that trusting to send money to a complete stranger and expect to get something back. ( not saying everyone is like this but... some are) i think the US should just raid the canadian border and make canada a state (minus quebec since they'd just want to seperate anyways lol) but yeah. sux that things are so expensive up here. getting a good sub for under $300 is difficult.usually have to go to at least $500.
