    Setting gain with out voltimeter?

Just got my AMP in and I can't seem to get my hands on an AC Voltimeter Is there any way to set the gain with out damaging my speakers?
    (Profile AP1200 200 wrms per channel, 2 channel; 2 10" RF punch stage 1, 150 wrms)

    Thanks

start at the lowest gain setting... set the HU where you would usually
listen to it and SLOWLY turn the gain up until it looks like the subs
are performing comfortably and you are happy with the output...

but you really cant substitute for a nice voltmeter... ive got one hooked
up to my amp all the time because some music puts out radically different
voltages... i.e. there is a big difference in how far you can push your volume
playing lil jon vs. how far you can turn your volume playing like a poorly
produced rock album... or sh1tty MP3...

When you do get it. Make sure you set it using a test tone not music.

Other than that, You can only play the loudest bass heavy song you have and turn it up manualy untill you notice distortion.

u just use an ordinary multimeter hooked up or do the make something that is meant to stay hooked to the amp so it doesnt look ugly and out-of-place

    Current system:
    03 Ford Explorer
iraggi 300amp alt (on its way)
Red top under hood and deka 9a31 in back ( on its way)
    stock mids and highs
    Pioneer Z110bt headunit
    1 18'' TC9/Audioque In 6cubes tuned to 32hz
    Audioque 3500D
    Handles the lows just fine
