    4 channel amp recommendation

I was wondering if anyone had any good recommedations for a decent 4 channel amp. My budget is around $250 and I'm looking more for sound quality than just loudness. I blew out the internal amp on my HU so I'll be using the amp to power my front and rear speakers and not a sub. In the front I have a set of CDT EF-61s and in the rear some JBL T595s. The specs on all the speakers say they can handle over 100 watts RMS, but I've never had anything that can push them that high yet so I don't know how accurate that is. I have a friend that can get me a Memphis amp for $230 that he says is 60x4 so I am also curious as to what you guys think of that brand. Any help would be appreciated .

    Re: 4 channel amp recommendation

I am no expert but I have heard these get good ratings and being a referb it should be better than new b/c they test everything on it... not just that it powers up. Price break is nice also.

Awesome, thanks for the info, I had been thinking about that one myself. Unless someone else has a differing opinion, I think I might pick that one up.

    ED 9.4
    $235
    60 x 4 at 12.5 volts, way underrated
    Full three year warranty.

Actually, for your budget of $250, you can get the amp and 60 ft. of edead, using their 15% off a package deal.

I second the nine.4, but instead of the 15% discount just use coupon code eDB94 to get $50 off.

    Re: 4 channel amp recommendation

Ive heard of people using the system builder, and then putting in the coupon code. Do both, thats a hell of a deal.

Thanks for all the help guys. I had actually been thinking about that ED amp, but couldn't find too many opinions of it.

Its a solid amp, does more than its rated power. Ive yet to hear of one complaint about it.
