    800w amp???

ok....heres the deal....i have 2 12w6v2's....and WAS running them off of a JBL 1200.1, but i have an older car and today my alternator or battery or something died and my car wouldnt start at a stop light. So after many hours of waiting for AAA to get here...I decided im going to get a smaller amp. The subs are 400w rms. I was thinking of maybe the JBL 600.1...but that would be underpowering them a little...im not looking to spend around 200 or maybe a LITTLE more then that.

Get your alternator rewound, it should fix the problem if you need more current. Or get a Cap, Or a Deep Cycle. Dont spend more money on a amp of lesser power when you got a perfectly good one that can run with a 100 dollar investment or less. What kinda car do you have? What is the alternator rating on it??
