    Icon32 Which amp is better, Rockford Fosgate or DEI?

    Need some advice before I buy;
    which amplifier do you think is better,
    the DEI Class D mono 1100d,
    or
    the Rockford Fosgate 1000 bd?

    Thanks!

    both are very good.

    I believe that DEI and ORION and PPI are the same company so... you know the reputations that those companies have. But, rockford amps are pretty brutal and can take some physical punishment so.. ...

    im pretty sure that is right. the dei 1100d puts out like 750 at 2 ohms and round1100 at 1 ohm.

    im not :p

    id take aserious look at the RF - RF are sooooooooo efficient, u wouldnt believe your *** & they push more than their rated power - ive seen bd1000.1's with 1300RMS+ on the birth certificate.

    although i think the RF may cost you a lil more than the dei..........if money's tight - jbl 1200.1 or RE's 1580RMS D class, although i got a couple of issues with it i want to investigate further - doesnt seem quite right the RE.........

    that dei has been known to put out 1400 watts at 14.4 volts benched, plus it has a subsonic filter, and that amp doesn't even get that warm at all. One of my favorite amps!!!
