    jbl gto ez amps

    Review of Amplifier:jbl gto 1001ez and 504ez

first off these are great amps i paid 202 for the 1000 and 113 for the 4 channel both amps sound great the 4channel rated at 50x4 already sounds better then my alpine f600 rated for 100x4,the only problems with these amps are the main feature the ez gain setting, its garbage i tuned it the way they wanted and it was way off the highs sounded harsh and the bass would cut off when turned up,the disc that comes with it has one tone that you use for the highs and the bass so i put my oscope on it and the signal was clipped,so i set it the right way and it sounded wonderful

I agree the gto's are some great sounding amps I bought the gto804ez and it replaced a Rockford p450.4 that sounded great and birthsheet shows 121@4ohms a channel but was a little to big for my current setup so I got the gto804ez and love it! I Would love to try out the gto10001ez I just wish they made a 2k or bigger and more options for ohm load wiring but I guess you can always just by more than one! What sub amp did you have before?

That's very unusual for these amps, they sound great and are very robust and well built. I have yet to have a single one come back.

Just when they though it couldn't get any worse, in came the Lord of Kaos, the Darkhart has arisen from his century long slumber..
