Item(s) Description/Condition: These amps are in great condition and do rated power. I purchased them from member JL Audio on here. He was certain they were Sundown protos so that I how I am selling them as well. I only used them for a few months then sold my truck. I realize that the look very similar to Critical Mass amps, but all I know is they work great and I sold my truck so now they are for sale.

This is a quote from JL Audio when I bought them from him, for what it is worth:

"When Sundown gets an amp in to test.... That's a proto. These aren't production models and won't be thus rare and prototypes they decided to not get mass produced. These are no logo samples. K thanks. They are from Sundown."

Maybe he or someone else will chime in, regardless, they are great amps. I am being as honest as possible, that is all I know about them.

those are not manufactured by sundown. sundown may have tested them but i am 99.9% that those are not a sundown designed amp.

Nobody claimed it was a Sundown "manufactured" or "designed" amp. Like you said, it was an amp that they got in to test, that is all
