All kicker amps are 2 ohm stable..so its 2500 @ 2 ohms.

you can wire your subs down to 1 ohm..but i dont recommend it for daily though..maybe 3 second burp!

Sorry but several Kicker amps were 1ohm stable such as all of the KX models along with thelarger of the SX and i have an old XS series thats .5ohm stereo and 1ohm mono.

Also regarding other posts as to whether they are 1ohm stable or not. I've used a few kx2500's at various loads and some do 1 ohm and get pretty warm, some don't and cut out. I'm sure imp rise played a factor in this too but like any amp ran under rated you're at risk for issues.

Definitely a great amp, I had a lot fun with mine and they took a beating.

Beast mode! I must have kx2500.1, Kicker just redid the kx line i dunno how its going to compare but i have two kicker kx1200.1 and yes there both one ohm stable.

Negitive WinC All kicker amps are not 2ohm. The kx, xs and several other series are 1OHM stable amps!
Haha sorry I didnt see that I had already commented on the whole stability thing. Free bump I suppose.
