    Re: Us Amps B-52(old school)

it's a cheater amp, with a real convenient cross-over built-in to run a mid/high amp out of the cross-over section. the real approximate ratings vs advertised:

    Continuous power @ 14.4 V
    (approximate)
150 watts rms at 4 ohms
300 watts rms at 2 ohms
375 watts rms at 1 ohm

    Continuous power @ 12 V
    (IASCA "cheater amp" rating)
50 watts rms at 4 ohms
100 watts rms at 2 ohms
200 watts rms at 1 ohm

    THD
    < .006%

    signal to Noise Ratio
    >> 100 dB

    damping Factor
    200

*IF I have forgotten to exchange feedback, please let me know*
    i buy broken amps....
No, i will not "gift" paypal. please do not even make it awkward by asking. if the fees are an issue, I am usually inclined to add them. unless you have discount elsewhere, shipping is through usps flat rate, through usps parcel post, or through the roof..... i am in alaska. thanks

    Re: Us Amps B-52(old school)

Lotta love for the 1st Gen US Amps, they put them on the map at the top of the pack. Id have this one if my truck project wasn't gulping down $ at a starving rate.

From my US Amps brochure US-B52A:
Monuaral high-powered subwoofer amplifier with two-way active electronic crossover and stereo high-pass outputs. Features a separate, infinitely variable 40Hz boost. All gold-plated input and output connections.

    1 channel
    50 at 4ohms
    100 at 2ohms
    N/A at 1ohms
    N/A at half ohm
    Bandwidth 5Hz-100KHz
    Frequency Responce 10Hz-50KHz
    THD < .05%
IMD < .02% Slew Rate at Input
    Damping Factor 500
    Signal to Noise Ratio 92dB
    15A Fuse

    Retailed at $350
