Which of the two amplifiers would you recommend, Harman Kardon CA470 or Focal Solid 4?

That HK looks sweet. Don't know how it would perform though. The focal amps are pretty solid though. At that price level though I would probably go for audison or something along those lines first.

for driving focal performance PS165 components and focal PS690CVX coaxial speakers.

No relevance but i used to have a old school harmon kardon, don't remember the model but it was 150x2 real tall cooling fins,maybe late 80's or early 90's was a beast and i loved it. Havent heard of them in car audio in a while.
