This may be a really stupid question, but i was told that mounting the amp on the box can rattle parts loose inside the amp? I dont see why it would be much different from being a foot away getting rattled, but I was just wondering.

^^ its just the fact that when its attached to the box theres pressure from the vibrations/flexing from the box that will mess thigns up if its a loud set up, now if you just have it laying there in the carpet not mounted nothing is holding it down so theres no presure from anthing to make anything in the inside come lose like u said so.
