    I bought this for my boat, but ended up selling the boat before I got around to installing it. It costs $99 at Walmart and I've just had it too long for their electronics return policy. Here is ino from WM's site:

    The XM-GTX6040 amplifier afford incredible installation flexibility and packs quite a punch. GTX amplifiers offer tremendous value including convenience features such as: modern cosmetics, variable cross-overs, multiple channel configurations and singe-side electrical connections to suit almost any application.

    Rated Power 4 Ohm Stereo
    60W x 4 RMS (20Hz-20kHz, < 1% THD+N, 4 Ohm, 14.4V)1

    Maximum Power 4 Ohm Stereo
    This unit has a maximum output power of 110W per channel at 4 Ohm.

    Rated Power 2 Ohm Stereo
    70W x 4 RMS (20Hz-20kHz, < 1% THD+N, at 2 Ohm, 14.4V)

    Maximum Power 2 Ohm Stereo
    This unit has a maximum output power of 150W per channel at 2 Ohm.

    Rated Power 3-channel Mode
    60W x 2 RMS + 130W x 1 (20Hz-20kHz, < 1% HD+N, 4 Ohms, 14.4V)

    High Level Input
    Direct connection (High Level Input)can be made with the speaker output of your car audio unit if it is not equipped with RCA line output. High Level Sensing power on feature allows the unit to be activated without the need for remote connection.

    Internal Crossover
    Built in selectable 12 dB/Oct 80Hz HPF for front and 18dB/Oct 80Hz LPF for rear.

    the shop i worked at use to sell sony amps and they sounded pretty decent.and are the number one selling amplifier in the world..look it up..lol

    Sony definitely isnt top of the line, but i never thought any of it sounded bad. Never seen a blown sony amp either good for a budget setup.
