DB Drive PT2000.1D
This amp is a beast and can do much more than its rated power. The amp has a fan built under the DB Drive blue LED logo which is located on top of amp (DriveSink heat management system with internal fan-forced cooling). This Amp has two Power, Ground, and Remote wire inputs (DC - DC PWM power supply). Has variable subsonic filter (20-50 Hz). Continuously variable 12dB boost on bass EQ & 12 dB per octave high pass & low pass crossover (50-250 Hz). Line out for easy daisy chaining of amplifier RCAs. Direct connect integrated speaker & power wire terminals.
Amp always stays cool never have seen it so much as warm even at a .5 ohm load played daily. Amp was never abused, have used effective electrical upgrades when ran at lower than 1 ohm loads. Amp can be wired and played at .5 ohm daily all day. Amp can handle up to a .25 ohm load, though would recommend this for only tone bursts/competition while using efficient and effective electrical upgrades. Also the amp can run at 16v setups!
Have original DB Drive packaging. Amp retailed at $1599 and are rather hard to find perhaps sort of rare...
Weighs about 28 pounds.
Reason for selling: Only because in my next setup I plan on pushing about 6-8k RMS.
DB Drive Rated at:
2000 RMS @ 1ohm/14.4v
1000 RMS @ 2ohm/14.4v
500 RMS @ 4ohm/14.4v
I've seen clamped at using 50hz:
4128 RMS @ .25ohm/14.4v
3168 RMS @ .5ohm/14.4v
2304 RMS @ 1ohm/14.4v
1161 RMS @ 2ohm/14.4v
586 RMS @ 4ohm/14.4
..Remember this amp can run @ 16v without any problems!
