Measuring box rise - frequency sweep??
I am about to measure the box rise on my setup (2x AB 1544's in a 8 cu.ft box tuned to 37Hz). I was wondering if I am suppose to use a fixed sine wave (50hz or so) or a frequency sweep from about 80Hz to around 30Hz (subsonic is at 30Hz and LP at 80Hz)and then measure the impedence?

Re: Measuring box rise - frequency sweep??
You need to know your PEAK frequency. You should have tested for your maximum spl and know your burp frequency before you do this. If you don't know your burp frequency or don't plan to burp, testing for rise is absolutely pointless.
