2 dd 2512s vs 1 15 ssa xcon

Both in boxes to spec at about 1500/2000 rms which setup do you think will be louder mainly spl?????

I recently got a steal on both setups don't have money for the amp yet planning on trading one for the amp just wanna know whats gunna get louder I'm leaning towards the xcon but not sure because the 2512s look pretty beefy any help would be appreciated?????

Ya how you like it ...haven't gave the dds a chance yet...don't have a beefy 2 ohm or a .5 stable amp just my buddies 1 ohm 1000rms Memphis till I sell a system and grab one. And have you herd a xcon?

Only way to find out is to DO :p, plus if you sold it there is a higher market right now (atleast in our area) for Sundowns.

Haven't had an ssa yet, the DD is really blowing me away. I didn't build a high output box, I went 2.25 cubes at 31.5hz to try to avoid flex that I had before tuning other DDs at 36, it didn't work. It turns the rear wall of my Dakota to jello basically. Some don't like the sound of them though, on the bass heavy music it's pretty boomy, but tuned low, it is very precise playing country and rock.

Forgot to add that the market in them is really terrible now since most people go with sa-12s and xfls in the same price bracket.

more cone area, more motor force and more area of voice coil to spread out the heat...its a no brainer
