Good job man. Makes you wonder sometimes with the prefab world. Make it look all good and stuff on the outside, then u dig a little deeper and you see problems. Good job on the detection on the leaks!!!

Ok. Sealed the box, and rounded the slot port. Gained .2. Though my meter was acting funny. Either way, a gain is a gain. Sitting @ 146.6 now....and climbing

Got the 8" caulked and glued in its piece of wood! Hopefully i'll test it out soon this week! Freezefest will be here before I know it.

Tested the 8" port. The port is 15.5" long. With the 4 4" ports @15.5 long, they hit a 145.8. Guess the number.

So sad this site doesn't pick up as much traffic on this topic compared to caco and csco.

145.1....managed to sqeeze a 145.17 out of it. Peak was also @53. Every other test peaked @55.

Oh wow. I haven't updated this in a while....Top news I have is.....With a prefab box, massive dmx 15 on an aq 2200d wired @ .25 ohms, best I could do was 146.7 at the headrest at freezefest. Amp's been all touchy wired to .25 now, would go into protect after the clip light lit up. But ran fine at .5 and 1 ohms

Highest I could get it before then, 147 flat. Picked a bigger amp. Haven't tested much with that. But did test with a sealed box. Peak freq? 39 hz. But next highest, by about .5, 55hz!

Ok. Finally got another test box built. Port is 18.5x6 and 25" long. Which gives it about 3 cu.ft net. with a tuning of 54. The port isn't sealed...well...with duct tape. Anywho. I haven't charged my batteries in like a month...and with no extra help from the interior, just the door open....And the box....just a box, not sealed really or rounded anywhere.

144.7 @49 hz.....a decent score, better than my other box so that gives me hope. Mind you this is my 3 year old hdc3 wired to 1 on a 3k amp, not the massive. I did a couple interior things later and pushed it past 145. I'm almost sure if I throw my massive sub in, I can get over a 147.5.

A weird side note, my sub hardly moved compared to my other boxes, it moved maybe a half an inch. The other box I had it in looked like it was going to bottom out....

Then I charged my battery, took the port and shrank the width to 4.25" from 6".

Score. 143.9@ 47 Hz. Almost a whole db down. My car loves 55 hz so i'll put the port back at 6" test with charged battery and then go out another .75" Then cut down the L shape port to try to get that peak up around 55.

So today. I went out, extended my port to 6.75" from 6", I hit a 145 even with my fully charged battery but then it leveled off to a 144.7, just kept getting a 144.7 so just to be sure it was just an off day, put the port back to 6" and the score dropped. Cause mind you it was a different time of day, temp, everything like that. I cut the port .5" at a time, and now have it 144.9 consistently. Best I could manage without moving interior things around was 145.1. Still peaking at 49.

I'm really itching to put my massive in there. Cause with all the gains i've gotten, I don't see why I can't hit a 148. We'll see

So basically. I cut another inch off in the port, score went down to 144.5 or something like that So that got me all depressed So I had to throw my massive back into my magic box. Scores.
