If you haven't already wasted money on the HO alts... dont....

get and AD244 by AC Delco. came factory on the big truck like suburbans, escelades, Hummers etc...

    heres list:
    (2005-03) AM General Hummer 6.0L
    (2005-04) Buick Rainier 5.3L
    (2004-02) Cadillac Escalade 5.3L, 6.0L
    (2005-99) Chevrolet, GMC Pickup, SUV, Van 4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.5L, 6.6L, 8.1L
    (2005-03) Isuzu Ascender 5.3L
    (2005) Saab 9-7X 5.3L

The AD244 alternator will bolt right up to the stock alternator bracket on the 4.3L with NO modifications to the bracket. The only thing that is different is that you won't be using the 3rd bolt that is on the backside of the alternator. The CS130D has this, but the AD244 doesn't. You won't have any troubles with the bolt not being there.
The AD244 uses the same wire harness as the CS130D. It is a plug-and-play application. These alternators have been tested to put out over 200A. at idle when cold and over 100amp at idle when warm. put a smaller pulley on it and you are easily up there with the $400+ alternators. The one I put on my Bravada tested very close to the same as my 300A Ohio Generator alternator, literaly only a few amps seperating the two... and you can get the 244 for around $50 compared to around $500 for the O.G., 244 won't fit my cadillac though

That's the same way I feel about my db electrical one. It's all a draw mine works fine, does rated and paid half of what most big names on here cost.
