Again there is some truth to that. I got a friend who swears by DC, then another who's pissed of waiting and gettig free powder coating just to get the wrong product. I also know another guy who runs a 300 amp Iraggi and loves his. So it's all a roll of the dice. Me personally, I have DB electric 200 amp alternator I paid 250, yes a 250 altnator that idles at 110 and does rated at 2500rpm. Had it over a year and never gave me any problems. Once again this is MY personal experience. Go with whoever, no company is the elite standard.

I have mechman and have no problems. Sure my alt ****ed up but he had it back to me in a week.

IMO, since irragi has a bigger/longer list of horror stories, I'd stay away from them if not local.

In the near future, I'll try out DC for myself and see what happens.

Exactly. Every experience is different. Some people swear by so and so, or this car, or this tv, or this gaming system, and etc. Believe that YOUR great experience is opposite of someone who has had the wrost experience they've ever had. Yes do your research, and what YOU feel is the best judgement, do it. But like I said earlier and like Villeza1 just stated it's a varied experience per costumer...

No better yet, TP his house, cut the power...and then smere **** all over the door handle and any other place where you would need to use your hands to operate. I know it's vandalizing but this is the REAL justice system. Lol

I must have went through about 4-5 in an 8 week period before I said fu(k it and went with an Ohio Generator, been running strong for almost two years now...
