any updates? and how many other people who got scammed called the cop?

I don't know who else called but still no deck and no money I will wait til monday then do a chargeback and go ahead and call the cop back and have our buddy served if I don't get product and have to do a chargeback to get my money back...

I really wish the cop's would go through with what they say but they never do. If they would just do follow through even on just a couple cases I bet it would cut way down on scamming. All he has to do is just like most scammer's do with paypal and supply the police with a tracking number to each person then it will be your word versus his in which the police can't do anything since you can't prove you didn't the actual item. It's happened plenty of time's before where the people online get a box of ****, paypal/police get a tracking number and close the investigation, and the scammer get's away clean. Good luck but I honestly wouldn't hold my breath on getting anything back unless you can do a chargeback through your credit card company.

yes i can do a charge back and unfortunately he cant prove shipping he already gave the cops a sworn affidavite saying he shipped but as the cop said if it doesnt arrive by friday of next week call him and they will pick him up as i have a strong case already and he cant prove shipping..either way i will get my money and might have to drive 10 hours to see him in court but at this point its about principals..
