and no the amp only came on for about 30 seconds as stated then went back into protect, after i took it apart i noticed more stuff had broke off the board..
hold on ill take pics ftw
So you felt good shipping out an amp with a "slight whine" when you gave it a 10/10 rating as far as functionality? I didn't read the original for sale so I don't know what was stated. But for that kind of money I'm sure the op thought this amp had no issues. If you look around good enough you can find a brand new one for a little bit more. I would say you should refund him, but I would argue that when he attempted a fix he voided that.
Hope it gets worked out.
packaging was great
wow, this ***** for both parties. if at least, mabie you guys could split the cost of repair?
I would at least pay half of the repair and call it good just to be a nice guy...
OP your crazy for buying the amp in that condition anyways.
as soon as i got it before i EVER touched he i called him and told him it didnt work, he said to take it apart and check the solder and if that didnt fix he we would figure something out
dang theres a lot of scamming going on lately
if the amp did not need repairs and i shipped it out and it did not work for the OP, i would offer a refund and pursue UPS for shipping damage. but the i did state the problem with the capacitor in the amp, and he did state that is what came unsoldered apparently and he resoldered it and it worked, then now it doesnt work.
Send it back
get a refund
and buy bones 4kw
Its just money anyway
