You paid for a product, end of transaction. They can't say "wait... we want more money" for no reason. They're legally yours, and if they try to sue you, and it goes to court, you'll win. As long as a representative of the company told you they're "x" amount, then charged your credit card, and if you got a receipt (the credit card statement might even be a receipt since it bides true with the verbal contract [which, too, holds good in court]) they're yours. Fck Memphis for being douche bags.

and the thing is since they never sent me a receipt they can say "oh it was this price"...also I never told them I was going to use them or sell them, I think they just assumed I was building another ss 5+ vehicle

I'll eat the losses and move on with a life lesson learned and some people got a ****** deal on some amps

I have purchased Memphis products through a dealer and I made the mistake of purchasing an amp online that was damaged in shipping. Memphis wouldn't even return my phone calls or emails regarding repair!

I am friends with the manager and owner (two different guys) of the local authorized Memphis store, and they couldn't even help me out unless I produced a receipt. Sorry, but unless my local dealer has a prior year model clearance on something that I want, I will probably not be purchasing any Memphis products in the near future.

They make a good product, but they go OVERBOARD to protect their brick and mortar shops!

Steve quit SPL...Memphis originally said we want x price per amplifier.

I gave a credit card and said I'll take them all...I was never sent a reciept I was told it would be mailed to me.

I got a phone call today saying whoever told me that price was wrong and they are wanting x price + lots more and I can't pay that much for them.

Memphis sent Steve an invoice for the amps...i called the local rep and told him what we were planning he said well ok add x amount since steve isn't keeping them i said great heres my cc


and the other 8 people that bought amps from me got a HELL of a deal on some ****** amps...


I am also glad that I didn't buy your laptop :) i hope you stay stuck with it

hope it all works out for you TSGP you gave alot of guys one hell of a deal. Woulda picked up as many as i could at any of the prices you had listed if i had the cash (or credit card limit ;) )
