You're the one blindly accepting the values of your peers to want to snitch someone out that has no connection to anything with you. You sit and think it out. I hate thieves. But you think it's ok for him to exert his influence to screw someone over, based on his belief system?

how does any connection between us make a difference? how many people have to be robbed before he finally gets caught? theres no guarantee he would even get caught. i would just be trying to prevent another person from being victimized by the thief. what if he was a pedophile? would the degree of the offense make "snitching" more justifiable? it might change the sense of urgency to report it, but i think you would be equally justified in alerting the police.

either way, i was aiming most of my criticism at the guys idea of taking the law into his own hands.
