bad business with Ibanender
copied and pasted from splbassx.com forums
I hate to write this because he seemed like a good guy but the transaction between me and Ibanender is by far the worst i done every had. Me and him made a deal on two 20.1 amps he was selling a while back. We went through the terms of agreement and i made him payments up to 1000 dollars on both his 20.1 amps. On 5-12-07 i made my final payment. To this date i have not received my amps. The deal was made on caraudio.com forums. Pretty much after final payment was made he stopped checking ca.com. ( i know because i was looking at his profile and the last time he logged in) I had written him a couple pm's and was waiting for his response. His status finally changed but i gotten no response from him. Thats when i decided to make a thread over at ca.com. The guys over there directed me to this forum where i finally gotten in contact with him. He still hasnt shipped. He says he has been busy on the job. Now im trying to be as patient as possible and figured they would be shipped by the weekend. Well i wrote him another private message asking and he just replied still busy, plus i wouldnt be able to ship on weekends anyways.
Come on man, you cant say i havent been patient with you. I sent payment a loooong time ago. Plus I was making payments. Obviously it was a done deal so the amps should have been packaged up and ready to be dropped off. Im guessing it would only require an hour out of your day.
I even tried responding to the last pm u sent me, but i got a message saying either ibanender box is full or he turned off his private messaging. In all honesty, will the long delay. The limited communciation from you. The fact i had to track u down to figure out what was the status on my amps, instead of u touching bases with me first. I honestly believe u turned off your pms so u wont get any more messages from me. Im not positive but based upon the history of this transaction, i wouldnt put it passed u.
Im honestly tired of excuses. You need to do what ever it takes to get my amps shipped to me. You have 1000 dollars of my cash and i would appreciate if you act like a responsible member and finish the deal.
Re: bad business with Ibanender
find him and break his face
Re: bad business with Ibanender
Sounds like a real outstanding member there.
Re: bad business with Ibanender
This just doesn't seem like him..
He's a regular @ SPLBassX.com, we overnighted him Pro-Comp subs from IN to FL for a comp.. he got them right back to us.. he's never been one w/shady business practices..
I've never known Iban to have problems like these?
I just don't really understand what's going on...... humm.
Re: bad business with Ibanender
Well, the guy did say he was busy.
Geez, what a dam loser. I bet he was not too busy to spend the dam money.

When I pulled it out of my vehicle, it worked. If somebody stripped out the gain pot, thats on them. It doesn't take brute force to adjust a gain, I've never stripped one out. Hell, it shouldn't be adjusted enough times TO strip it out. It sat around for a month in somebodies garage in sub freezing weather. You paid somebody else to do your install which tells me you lack experience installing. Who's to say you didn't screw it up yourself? I have a life, I have things to do, I don't sit at my computer 24/7 waiting on people to talk to me.
I wouldn't be selling thousands of dollars of equipment if I didn't need the money. Anybody who knows me, knows I don't sell equipment. I would have to have money to refund you for that to happen. How much is your mortgage? How much is your car payment? Utilities? Phone bill? Insurance? Grow up and you'll learn what its like. I realize you had been saving, but that isn't even an option for me. I don't have money to save, I get it and its gone.
You can threaten small claims court, but I can tell you now it won't get you anywhere. Besides, I've got a line of attorneys behind me, because thats who I do work for.
The only way you're gonna get any money back any time soon is if you double box it, ship it with insurance and file a claim when its recieved broken. They'll cut you a check for it.
sounds like a dush bag
Re: bad business with Ibanender
Wow, I'm sure some people will chime in on this one
Re: bad business with Ibanender
It's like this, he may not have sent your stuff out, but he's being truthful about it.
He COULD be telling you he sent them.. knowing he didn't.. lying to you & ****.
But he isn't, he's still trying to make it work, he's just busy as ****.
Re: bad business with Ibanender
but not too busy to take his money?

You know what, that excuse might be more acceptable if the seller went out of his way to let someone know that a shipment would be delayed and the delay was a matter of days -- not weeks.
Re: bad business with Ibanender
at least he didnt use the excuse in my sig.

If someone is too busy to send **** that they are selling out then they should not be selling it.

so just imagine you didnt get your **** sent to you for weeks, I'm sure you would be pretty happy. But then again i remember my transaction with you and that check and it seems you and him share the same practices.
Re: bad business with Ibanender
my action with Iban went very well, fast shipment and everything on one of my AQ's. never a dull moment in communication either.

x2...
he is a personal friend of mine, but im not going to speak on his behalf here, or make any excuses for him seeing as im not involved and know nothing of this matter...
one thing that it could be, he recently moved, and hopefully you got his updated address so that he did get all of your final payments. other than that, i know that he did just start a new job and has been quite busy with it.

i have every doubt that you would win... sean does work for some pretty high profile lawyers, and has plenty of access to legal advice, and im more than certain they would be capable of blowing holes through the lack of proper documetation or lack of a formal contract... but this is besides the point.
