Situations exactly like the above are why I strongly suggest that anyone wanting to sell speakers of any kind do the following ~
BEFORE selling the speakers....like as you're preparing the FS thread that will contain whatever you're selling....take pics of the speaker(s) showing a DMM reading on the coils. Such as the thread where I'm trying to sell the MA Audio subs for my friend....anyone wanting to see can tell that one sub reads 4.0 and the other reads 3.9 which is within acceptable limits for a pair of SVC 4 Ohm drivers.
This isn't brain surgery, guys and gals. Use a bit of common sense. In any online trade both parties should do everything that they can to protect themselves from any possible angle IMO...
You said things very similar on each of your other usernames when the inevitable problems arose. Why can't you simply be a stand-up guy and do what's right? I mean, good gosh, man! Is it so difficult to send out an as-advertised item to your buyer once you've received their money? I know from personal experience that it isn't. On more than a few occasions my buyers have gotten their gear shipped the same day they paid. I am well aware that such a thing isn't always possible but at the outside in my opinion it should never take more than a week after receiving payment to ship out purchased items excepting if you're in a car wreck that leaves you hospitalized or something...Originally Posted by RollinGTO
