oop,s I meant the X1300 is more expensive then the X800, I never said its a better card... in fact, the only thing better is the Shader Model 3 on the card, but that doesnt compensate for anything.....


it is a used computer, making the X800 a USED card.... does it come with the book on the card? driver disk? anything??? probably not its basically an OEM/used card in the system.....


that aside... he said it was a $200 card. new its about $120 at best.... dont EVER go by best buy prices.... would you go there to buy audio crap? no.

I am sorry to break this to you but if you know your computers then you would have build one yourself that was x10 better

actually i priced a ground up build with pentium and 64x2 systems. it would have cost another 200 to build the same system and a little more to build a better one. the way i figured, this computer had plenty of processing power and the x800 pro would get me by until the next generation of video cards comes out, which should be pretty soon.

here is a X1950 PRO for that much... yeah, I'd say its just a TAD better then the Similarly priced X800 you are talking about.

and for $100? a 7600GS, not exactly "better" but it does perform better then the X800 pro, plus SM3 which most new games require
