NOTICE: Raven2201 UNSURE

Now that I looked at some of his past feedback, I wish I didn't make this purchase.

Raven purchased a SkyNav 3000 (navi system) from another CA.com member, pitchblack98.

Before he had it in his possession, he sold it to me for $150.00 to get his car out of the "shop" or I guess what would be the pound since he said something about needing the money so they would stop charging him a $25/day fee for leaving his car there (not sure how many shops do this.) Anyways, I told him a dozen times I was shaky on buying it since he didn't already have the item in his hand.

Anyways, I sent him the money paypal since he assured me all would be well and that he would ship out soon thereafter.

Four days later he tells me that the nav system isnt in good condition and missing wires.
If all of this is true, he should be leaving poor feedback for pitchblack98 on these boards!

I am not here to bash raven2201 since I know that he has plenty of good transactions. I am just here to let the boards know what I am currently going through and hopefully this process will be resolved by Monday, when Raven says he will refund my money through Priority Mail, with a money order.

I will keep you updated.

eh, i personally have had succesful transactions with him and so have many others. Not knowing all the details of this transaction i'm not gonna even post an opinion but him staying in contact with OP and not just sending him the default unit is something that should be looked at as a positive i would think.

Any issues on the nav are between me and pitchblack only. He is being great about everything and no I will not be leaving him neg feedback. As for MJ's money. He is getting a refund. End of story. That should be all that matters since he is so worried about it he had to make a thread 5 days after he sent the payment.

Considering the shop did 1400 in work on my car they wanted to make sure they got paid right off so they said they would be charging storage if it wasnt picked up asap. Would you like a pic of the work order to prove to you I am telling the truth?.

This thread is here to notify ca.com members of what is going on.
As soon as I feel like the seller is giving me a run around or not being completely honest with me, I start a thread for the public to see. This is in order to reduce the possibility of me losing my money. That's all. I believe you will give me my money, sooner than later hopefully. But until then, this thread is completely appropriate.

By the way, I wouldn't have "jumped the gun" had I not talked to pitchblack98. I will leave out details between the transaction you two have going on, but it seems as if you have been giving him the run around too.
Therefore, thread 100% appropriate.
The mods will delete this thread if they feel its necessary. Aside from that, leave the tracking # on that M.O. on Monday here, so we can all see.

Don't act like this is the first time somebody has considered your legitimacy.
