i would contact your local authorities and his local authorities and if you paid via credit card, i'd call up your cc company and do a chargeback. do not let him get off that easy. i understand your overseas, but you can still contact his local authorities, bbb, internet fraud companies.
law enforcement agencies do not take internet fraud lightly.

Paypal won't give his personal details, I dont even know his local authorities, I have made my CC aware, how do I find out where he is located / authorities.

if it involves internet fraud, then paypal has no authority to keep his info from you. tell them to give you his info or you will contact the authorities who investigate internet fraud and that you will let them kno that paypal is withholding information from you.Originally Posted by dazza7

It is not the moderators fault it happens, and there is little they can do for you.
If you paid through a credit card, they should be able to just chargeback the funds. Most card companies won't hesitate to do so...
Did you file a claim with PayPal? It seems like you are not doing a thing here.

The paypal claim was done around 4 days after last contact with seller, paypal have tried getting funds but they couldn't, and they are still trying to recover, i'v also notified IC3 and my CC who are going to charge paypal back.
I have done everything I can to get my money back but im suprised no one on this board can actually offer to help me, or someone who lives where he does...
