Wow Im so glad I escaped this. You all know I bought my 4hp from him, and right from the start he made me nervous with the lack of taking paypal. Money Orders are bad news, and should not be allowed on the forums as a method of sale. Either have the responsability of having a paypal account or dont fvcking do business. I was STUPID for trusting him, but he actually came thru for me. But I made sure I got on the phone with him and talked to him before we made the sale. Was there anything like that between you two?

Also, he said that the shipping cost an extra $25 more than we agreed, and I just paid him just to get him out of my hair. I probably shouldnt of done that either, but I got sick of his PM's. (and no, you cant PM me for cash, lol)

My final cost for my 4hp was 450+ .... if he had jacked me, id very well be on the next plane out to visit him up in New York. If anyone wants his info, i'll be happy to supply it.

Lesson learned dont make no sence here.

What lesson did i learn? he had good refs ect... even asked a few people about him and said he was a good guy.

What you are saying is dont buy off a forum from someone with good refs or this will happen.

Atleast that is what I get from it.

KOTPL for the loose I totally know how you feel man, I bought a MT 18" a couple of weeks ago that had a bum coil....at least I got my $$ back, and that was totally thanks to the MECA website and their support.

O and for you guys in canada I can hook you up with a place to get recones for RE subs. I just got off the phone with RE and they gave me this guys number and I was just talking to him and he said yes he can get me a recone but was not sure on the price. he is calling them and said when he knows he will call me back.

He said in the past you could not get them in canada but now since they dont want direct buying they are going to let the dealers sell recones. but you can still send them in to re if you are located in the states.

And my buddy is here and he wanted to know the price on a new xxx 12" and he quoted me 1000+ shipping which is a killer deal here in canada.

That's not entirely true either. It's a long, complicated, pain in the posterior process but you can go through the post office and file for mail fraud since it was a mailed payment for a fraudulant sale. I've seen it done more than a couple of times via eBay screwups.

Going to the post office in about 20 minutes to see what they say.

No he hasnt. Not going to just wait around.

He new very well that he was shipping me a blown sub that was damaged.
He lied to me from day one.
Told me it was like new and used for about 3 weeks.
From the ware on the tinsles and cone it was used for alot longer then 3 weeks.

then even had the balls to make a post to get more money for shipping. He told me and everyone else that it was 93 dollars to ship the sub and when it arrived it clearly stated 50 dollars to ship.

What I want from him is

1) Him to pay all the costs for me to have the sub reconed and the extra money refunded that i gave him for shipping.

OR


2) Refund all my money and when I recive it I will send him his sub at his expense

Listen I am not selling the sub for a few reasons

1)paid 385 us for it and wont get that out of it!
2) it would be cheaper to recone it then sell it and buy another one cause i would loose 2 much.
3) You just want me to get rid of it so nothing happens to king.
4) I need proof cause i am pushing this as far as i can.
5) I am not going to say o well he ripped me off nothing i can do.( by the looks of it that is what you would do.)
