if the coils read ok you can prolly get away wiht a little scraping (have read that others have used subs scraping some wiht no ill affect besides the scraping)

**** that *****, im happy i never decided to buy something from king. even though the cosmetics may not effect the performance/sound, it was claimed to be in perfect condition. If I bought something I'd want it to look exactly or very closely to how it's described, and nothing less. And on top of that the shipping charges..
i think the dual 1.4's read 1.9 or 1.7 for RE cant renember when i had a pair but it wasnt 1.4 unless mine where damaged :( to me the leads do look a little bad the surround well not really and the motor not really like everyone says thats what you get when you buy used subs. sometimes their more perfect sometimes their worst.

MT's have a pretty tight gap, make sure you push on it DIRECTLY in the center.Try numerous times.
And it's possible that its ****ed up.
well I just got home and I put my buddys DMM on it and one coil reads 2.4ohms and the other was 3.9-4 ohms. I am hopping my buddies DMM is messed up but if not errrrr...
What I dont get is it is marked d1 on the coil you can see in one of the pics i posted.
It says MT D1 on the coil
